Fox, Come and Sleep

 

A man once met a beautiful woman
They married
Had a child
Had a dog who gave birth at the same time
To a litter
Whenever the wife was near
The puppies barked
She begged the man to kill them
He refused
One puppy barked

She jumped onto the fence
Turned back
Into her natural form
Of a fox
The man loved his wife dearly
Begged her
Vowing never to forget her
Come
And sleep
Which she agreed to do
